Comprised of mass-trauma survivors from Columbine High School and Rt. 91 Las Vegas, Survivors Path is dedicated to living a productive and contributory life while sharing the truths of surviving and living life after trauma.
Offering insight and support around trauma recovery, mental health, and the long-term health consequences of surviving mass trauma, we are passionate about sharing our trauma journey and the nuances of navigating mental health as a survivor.
Understanding the psychological wounds that linger long after trauma, Survivors Path allows audiences to hear directly about living through and surviving trauma. In sharing the survivors’ journey, we facilitate deeper dialogue, educate, and expand awareness, and promote more significant support for survivors, their families, and their communities.
OUR MISSION
To foster healing and recovery through open and honest dialogue of the shared
experiences and personal journey of mass trauma survivors.
Two-thirds of mass-gun violence survivors suffer PTSD and this number does not include those who develop anxiety disorders, panic attacks and substance abuse. The psychological wounds linger, and the mental health consequences experienced by survivors, their families and the community often go unchecked.
